Taylor Swift 'Out Of The Woods' Music Video Review

On Thursday, Taylor Swift debuted her new music video for "Out of the Woods" on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve hosted by Ryan Seacrest.

And what an eye-popper of a video it is: a wilderness extravaganza that finds Swift, clad in a flowing blue dress, traveling through forests, scaling mountains, running with wolves, and standing amid blazing trees.

Shot in New Zealand, the "Out of the Woods" music video is the sixth Swift has released from her 1989 album, which racked up seven Grammy nominations (including for Album of the Year).

Earlier this year, the singer revealed her new single – which fans have speculated was inspired by her relationship with Harry Styles – is about the ups and downs of a "fragile relationship."

Co-written by Jack Antonoff, the track "just kind of conjured up all these, like, feeling of anxiety that I had had in a relationship where everybody was watching, everybody was commenting on it," she said in a Grammy Pro Listening Session video. "You're constantly just feeling like, are we out of the woods yet?"

So, who was the runner-up? After Selena Gomez, you voted her pal and Spring Breakers co-star, Vanessa Hudgens, in second place. Her ethereal, boho babe Naeem Khan gown, (which consisted of a plunging neckline and light blush hue), came in at number two with 14.02%.

Third place went to Selena’s bestie, Taylor, with 12.3%, who opted for an edgy look in sequin houndstooth separates, which included a crop top and high-waisted joggers by Ashish. Demi Lovato and her form-fitting pink mini dress was right behind Tay Tay with 12.1%.

Taylor Swift is about to release her new single from her album 1989. On the successful 1989 Album that dominates the chart in US Billboard in other countries. 

The 1989 is the fifth studio album by Taylor Swift. It was released on October 27, 2014, through Big Machine Records. Swift began preparing for the album during the same year that Red was released, and during a significant amount of media scrutiny. Over the course of the two-year songwriting period, she primarily collaborated with producers Max Martin and Shellback—Martin served as the album's executive producer alongside Swift. The album's title was inspired by the pop music scene of the 1980s, particularly Swift's birth year.

The album represents a sonic departure from the country music of her previous albums, and is described by Swift as her "first documented official pop album." In contrast to Swift's previous work, the production of 1989 consists of drum programming, synthesizers, pulsating bass, processed backing vocals, and guitars. 1989 received generally positive reviews from contemporary music critics and it was ranked as one of the best albums of 2014 by numerous publications, including Time, Rolling Stone, and Pitchfork Media.

After debuting at number one on the U.S. Billboard 200, 1989 sold 1.287 million copies during the first week of release. The total U.S. sales figure from the debut week of 1989 was the highest since 2002, and made Swift the first artist to sell one million or more copies of an album in a week-long period for three albums. 1989 eventually became the best-selling album of 2014 in the U.S. market and has sold over 5.5 million copies as of December 2015, while selling 8.6 million worldwide. Six singles have been released from the set: "Shake It Off", "Blank Space", and "Bad Blood" all reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100, while "Style" peaked at number six, "Wildest Dreams" at number five, and "Out of the Woods" peaking at number 18 in 2014. The first five singles have all reached number one on the Adult Top 40 and Mainstream Top 40 and all have received a multi-platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

Swift received eight Grammy Award nominations for 1989, including Album of the Year, making it Swift's third album to receive the honor, following her win in 2010 for Fearless and her nomination in 2013 for Red. In addition to the top prize, the album was also nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album, Swift's first nomination on the category. The first two singles "Shake It Off" (in 2014) and "Blank Space" (in 2015) were both nominated for Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance. The fourth single, a remix of "Bad Blood", was nominated for an additional two awards, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Music Video.

How to be single, is a romantic comedy film directed by Christian Ditter and written by Abby Kohn and Marc Silverstein, based on the novel of the same name by Liz Tuccillo. Starring Dakota Johnson, Rebel Wilson, Alison Brie and Leslie Mann.

The film is scheduled for a February 12, 2016 release by Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema.

Gods of Egypt February 2016

Another upcoming movie this year 2016 is the Gods of Egypt is an upcoming American fantasy film featuring ancient Egyptian deities. The film is directed by Alex Proyas and stars Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Brenton Thwaites, Gerard Butler, and Geoffrey Rush. Butler plays the god of darkness Set who takes over the Egyptian empire, and Thwaites plays the mortal hero Bek who partners with the god Horus, played by Coster-Waldau, to save the world and to rescue his love.

Filming took place in Australia under the studio Summit Entertainment. While the film's production budget was $140 million, the parent company Lionsgate's financial exposure was less than $10 million due to tax incentives and pre-sales. When Lionsgate began promoting the film in November 2015, it received backlash for its predominantly white cast playing Egyptian characters. In response, Lionsgate and director Alex Proyas apologized for the lack of casting diversity.ou. 

Lionsgate plans to release Gods of Egypt in theaters in the United States on February 26, 2016 and in the United Kingdom on April 8, 2016. The film will be released in 2D and RealD 3D.

What I like this movie is the sci-fi effects of the monsters and power. If you truly love adventure with actions this movie will really fit for you.

Zoolander 2, comedy film directed by Ben Stiller and written by Justin Theroux, Stiller, Nicholas Stoller and John Hamburg. It is the sequel to the 2001 film Zoolander and stars Stiller, Owen Wilson,Will Ferrell, Penélope Cruz, Kristen Wiig and Fred Armisen. The film is scheduled to be released on February 12, 2016 by Paramount Pictures.

Ghost busters Reboot, supernatural comedy film that is a reboot of the Ghostbusters franchise. It is directed by Paul Feig and written by Katie Dippold and Feig. It stars Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon,Leslie Jones, Chris Hemsworth, Neil Casey and Andy García. Filming took place in Boston and New York City from June to September 2015. The film is scheduled for a July 15, 2016 release.

Alice through the looking glass, dventure-fantasy film directed by James Bobin, written by Linda Woolverton and produced by Tim Burton. It is based on Through the Looking-Glass by Lewis Carroll and is the sequel to the 2010 film Alice in Wonderland. The film stars Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Mia Wasikowska,Helena Bonham Carter, and Sacha Baron Cohen. The film is set to be released by Walt Disney Pictures on May 27, 2016.

The Huntsman: Winter's War, dark fantasy action-adventure film, and is a prequel/spin-off/sequel to Snow White and the Huntsman, based on the characters from the German fairy tale "Snow White" compiled by the Brothers Grimm, as well as "The Snow Queen" by Hans Christian Andersen. It is the directing debut of Cedric Nicolas-Troyan, who acted as visual effects supervisor on the first film, and is written by Craig Mazin and Evan Spiliotopoulos. The film stars Chris Hemsworth, Charlize Theron, Emily Blunt, Jessica Chastain and Nick Frost.Principal photography began on April 6, 2015. The film is scheduled to be released on April 22, 2016.

Finding Dory, 3D computer-animated comedy adventure film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. It is the sequel to 2003's Finding Nemo. Andrew Stanton, who directed the original film, will return as writer and director, alongside Angus MacLane as the co-director. The film is scheduled to be released on June 17, 2016. It has also been confirmed that characters from the first film will appear in the sequel, including Dory, Nemo, Marlin and the "Tank Gang". Finding Dory will be focused on the amnesiac character Dory, and will explore the idea of her being reunited with her family. The film will take place six months after the events of Finding Nemo and will be set off the coast of California.

The Secret life of pets, is an upcoming 2016 American 3D computer animated comedy film produced by Illumination Entertainment. The film is directed by Chris Renaud and Yarrow Cheney and written by Brian Lynch, Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio.The film stars Louis C.K., Eric Stonestreet, Kevin Hart, Steve Coogan, Ellie Kemper, Bobby Moynihan,Lake Bell, Hannibal Buress and Albert Brooks. The film is scheduled to be released on July 8, 2016, by Universal Pictures.

Tarzan,  action adventure film drawn upon the fictional character created by Edgar Rice Burroughs, scheduled for release in 2016. Directed by David Yates and written by Adam Cozad andCraig Brewer, its cast comprises Alexander Skarsgård in the title role, and Samuel L. Jackson, Margot Robbie,Djimon Hounsou and Christoph Waltz. Principal photography began on June 30, 2014, at Warner Bros. Leavesden Studios in the UK, and wrapped four months later on October 3. Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures in Cooperation with Dark Horse Entertainment and Jerry Weintraub Productions are co-producing the film. It is scheduled for release on July 1, 2016 in 2D, 3D, IMAX and IMAX 3D. The film will be dedicated to Weintraub's memory, as he passed away on July 6, 2015.

Dirty Grandpa, comedy film directed by Dan Mazer and written by John Philips. The film stars Robert De Niro, Zac Efron, Zoey Deutch, and Aubrey Plaza. Filming began on January 5, 2015 in Atlanta. It is scheduled to be released on January 22, 2016.

Neighbours 2:Sorority Rising, It is the sequel to the 2014 film Neighbors. The film will be directed by Nicholas Stoller and written by Stoller, Andrew J. Cohen, Brendan O'Brien, Seth Rogen, and Evan Goldberg. The film will star Rogen, Zac Efron, Rose Byrne, Dave Franco, Chloë Grace Moretz, Carla Gallo, and Ike Barinholtz.
