Ktheryn Elizabeth "Katy" Hudson (born October 25, 1984), better known by her stage name Katy Perry, is an American recording artist, businesswoman, philanthropist, and actress. She was born and raised in Santa Barbara, California. Having had little exposure to mainstream pop music in her childhood, she pursued a career in gospel music as a teen and released her debut studio album, Katy Hudson (2001). She later recorded a collaborative album with The Matrix and a solo album she worked on with Glen Ballard, the latter of which was never released but leaked online in 2005-2007.

In April 2007, Perry signed a recording contract with Capitol Records. She rose to prominence with the release of her single "I Kissed a Girl" followed by her second album, One of the Boys (2008). The album is predominantly pop rock and features themes of heartbreak and teenage adventure. Perry's third record, Teenage Dream (2010), was preceded by the Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping singles "California Gurls" and "Teenage Dream", and later produced the number-one singles "Firework", "E.T.", and "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)". Teenage Dream became the first album recorded by a female artist in history to produce five number-one hits, and the second album overall after Michael Jackson's Bad (1987). The album features genres such as pop, rock, disco, electronic music, funk, and hip hop, whilst its themes focus on teenage love, partying, self-empowerment, and personal growth. In March 2012, she re-released Teenage Dream as Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection, which was preceded by its number-one single "Part of Me".

Her fourth album, Prism (2013), was preceded by promo single ''Walking on Air'', the number-one single "Roar" and followed by singles ''Unconditionally'', ''Dark Horse'' featuring American rapper, Juicy J which also went number 1, ''Birthday'', and ''This Is How We Do''. The album was originally planned to be "darker" than Perry's previous material, but ultimately became an album influenced by Swedish dance music with themes such as living in the present, relationships, and self-empowerment.

Perry has received numerous awards and nominations, including eleven Grammy nominations and Billboard dubbed her as 2012's Woman of the Year. She remains the only artist to spend 69 consecutive weeks in the top ten of the Hot 100. Perry is also the third best selling digital singles artist in US according to RIAA. She has ventured into celebrity endorsement and released fragrances Purr, Meow, and Killer Queen. In late July 2011, she made her film debut voicing Smurfette in The Smurfs. Billboard ranked Perry at number fourteen on their 2011 list of top moneymakers, grossing more than $11 million.

In early July 2012, she released her 3D autobiographical documentary film, Katy Perry: Part of Me, which concentrated on her life as a touring artist and the breakdown of her one-year marriage to English actor/comedian Russell Brand. As of November 2013, Perry has sold more than 11 million albums and 81 million singles worldwide and her singles are some of the best-selling worldwide.

On November 23, 2014, NFL announced that Perry will perform at the Super Bowl XLIX halftime show on February 1, 2015.

Perry and Bonnie McKee wrote many songs with youthful themes in mind, but they were rejected by producers Benny Blanco and Dr. Luke. Blanco showed them The Teenagers' single "Homecoming", and McKee imagined "Teenage Dream" as a throwback song to the euphoric feelings of being in love as a teenager. They met with Max Martin in Perry's hometown of Santa Barbara, California and started writing the track at Playback Recording Studio, which Perry later described as a pure moment for her. After Perry recorded her vocals, McKee presented her idea and the chorus was rewritten. Xian Lim mark as the Sexiest Men Alive in Starmometer

Alexander Xian Cruz Lim Uy is a Chinese-Filipino actor, model and singer, also known as Xian Lim. Lim is a contract artist of Star Magic. Lim is famous for playing the roles of Andy in the series, My Binondo Girl in 2011 and Rocco in the blockbuster hit movie, Bride for Rent.

2015 Metro Manila Film Festival “Gabi ng Parangal”

It's already part of the culture of Filipino that Every Christmas Day Season they celebrated by watching a Movies proudly produced and directed by Filipino. This Yuletide Season 8 of Metro Manila Film Festival release a Movies... 

On the first day of the premiere showing in cinema 'My Bebe Love' earns the highest grossing movie. 

According to the report, “My Bebe Love” raked a whopping P60,462,169.57 on December 25, 2015 which makes it the new record holder of the Biggest Opening for an MMFF Movie and also the Biggest Opening for a Pinoy Film in general.

It means the AlDub-starrer broke the P53.3 opening day record of last year’s top-grosser “The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin.” It also broke the P43.3 million record of “A Second Chance” for the Biggest Opening for a Pinoy Film for 2015.

Base on our world this century many of us really find and look for a job, in order to sustain the income and to buy all of our needs. In the survey that I conducted I ask 100 persons about “What is the purpose of having a job”

56% - To Help Our Family

24% - Self-Worth

9% - To buy everything you need and wants

5% - To survive

6% - OTHER ANSWERS  

Many Filipinos really are family oriented as the survey result 56% of Filipino said they wanted to help their family income, while 24% state that it is a self-worth for them and 9% say that they wanted to buy everything they need and wants and 5% says in order for them to survive while the other answers are in 6%. According to the Magazine of Good Housekeeping “Money Starts at Home. Keep your family’s budget in control, while honing savvy saving and spending habits”. Every cent counts, that is one of the motto of every Filipino family, but the fact is few people pay attention in this phrase, the fact is money can really hurt us. In what I have learned in the saying yesterday is history, today is a gift and tomorrow is mystery, so we need to plan ahead because we don’t know what happen next. As a tip, you must start educating your family in finance. How? Here some tips

First, Have a Family chat or Meeting and your agenda are your family income. It is very important as a family to have a conversation with each other, and the one who will certainly conduct this meeting is the mother or the father or shall we say the one who always manage the family. Then take down notes all your family income, if you have children that are teenagers have them sit and listen as you talk your income, it is very important to child to know the circumstances of your family, if your child is too young, then talk to your partner. But if your child have already a job ask them to join the meeting.

Second, let every member of the family take down notes their plans, wants and goal. Every one of us have our own goals, plans and wants. It is not bad to have it but dwelling in any circumstances to be in a great debt it can really hurt us and it can also destroy us in our dignity, so we need to plan! After listing all the plans, wants and goal, have an individual discussion in your family that this is your want, plans, and goals. After discussing all your goals,

Third, discuss a percentage distribution or spending plan. During my first year of job, it quite difficult on my part to have a monthly income of 6,800.00 pesos, less the SSS, pag-ibig fund and others with, so I have a basic pay which is 5,800.00 pesos. Because of this  I need to spend it wisely in my thesis project, my nephew schooling and allowances, apartment, my allowance, my bill, and most especially my personal necessity. Then an idea came up in nowhere in my mind that I need to have spending plan. So what I did I plan to have a percentage in my basic salary. See the sample below:

Fourth, Have a family little business. Having a business is not really bad, actually it could really help your family income. Through this have a discussion to your family about an idea of having a business, but always remember that business should be business. An example business is that something that you have that others don’t, example you are really a good cooker, so plan business which is a cooking business that you only cook if there is an order. Another one is that you really love clothes have an online boutique and sell them with your friends. Just always remember, if you have a passion in business then plan a head but if not, don’t waste every cent in your family income.

Fifth, How much should we save and how do we allocate our savings?, According to Henry Ong, director of registered Financial Planners Philippines he share this 5^th tips, we need to encourage each family members to save regularly. Make it a habit to practice to pay yourself first by depositing a portion of your regular salary to savings before using the rest expenses. Allocate savings for giving, investing, and for emergency funds also.

In this tip I hope you will have a successful family budget. Because money is family matter. Each member of the family should understand his or her role in reaching a common goal for everyone to be financially independent. Regularly set a time together to discuss the family financial situations.
